CREATING FILM, CHANGING LIVES
Film Access Scotland is the national sector development and membership body which represents, connects and supports organisations and individual practitioners working in the Film Access Sector.
Its aim is to expand and develop the Film Access Sector, its infrastructure and workforce, so that more people across Scotland, especially those experiencing disadvantage or exclusion, can access high-quality Film Access activities. Film Access work involves making, watching and learning about film as an instrument of societal, personal, and community change.
"Changes at Film Access Scotland - Message from the Board
Our initial development phase at Film Access Scotland is coming to an end. We wish to thank all the staff team who have got us to this stage in our development and also to thank Screen Scotland for its essential support for this new and vital endeavour.
Thanks to our broad membership and growing associate membership we are in a strong position to diversify the sources of funding to continue the strategic development of the sector - with more to come on this at the AGM in October 2023.
In the meantime, we are taking a summer break with the Autumn programme of events re-commencing in September 2023."
