Nuria González Blanco is an Oscar nominee producer and a BAFTA Scotland New Talent nominee director and writer who studied Animation at Edinburgh College of Art. For the last nine years, Nuria has worked across the full spectrum of Animation production roles in children’s television, advertising and film. Past projects include the TV series Puffin Rock, the feature film The Breadwinner and the short film Late Afternoon. Nuria works as a producer in Ireland-based animation studio Cartoon Saloon, where she is also developing her own preschool TV show Silly Sundays. Cartoon Saloon isa four-time Academy Award®, Golden Globe®, BAFTA and Emmy nominated animation studio formed by Paul Young, Tom Moore and Nora Twomey in 1999. From award-winning shorts to feature films and TV series, Cartoon Saloon has carved a special place in the international Animation industry and continues telling stories to inspire and entertain audiences worldwide.
