When two sisters are dumped at their grandparents for the holidays, Cassie heads for the woods in search of signal, desperately trying to stay connected with her friends back home. But as little sister Flora plays through the forest, letting her imagination run wild, will Cassie’s inner child be re-awakened as she realises the connection she needs might be right in front of her?

A girl tries to shut out the world through her headphones, but when her dad takes them away, this father-daughter must face up to the reality of their situation.

The film was created as part of the intensive 8-days BFI Film Academy Residential Scotland 2019.

A young girl tries to reconnect with her mother. Caitlyn’s 16th birthday approaches. She lives at Sunnyside Children’s House and has just received an unexpected text from her mother.

Made after a 10-week film education course the young participants collectively wrote a script and filmed it.

Jack is a young boy who can’t wait to meet his little brother. The whole family are eagerly awaiting the arrival of baby Jacob.

This film was created as part of the MIA course, an A Level, year long study during which the students studied the theoretical and practical aspects of filmmaking.
