Waiting for Aliens – 11mins

A family of four find themselves in an abandoned swimming pool waiting to welcome aliens to the planet. Waiting for Aliens is a coming of age story about the difficulties of family dynamics, belief, and understanding different kinds of love.

When fourteen year old, Sean, witnesses a stabbing by the drug gang he belongs to, he is quickly labelled a “snitch” when the police investigation begins. Sean soon begins to see the true colours of the people he once looked up to.

A Triffling Matter – 4.5 mins

When Hannah and her boyfriend, Tom, meet with Tom’s confectionary-affectionate Family, Tom fears telling them his Christmas day plans. He avoids the subject leading to a false bombshell that has a messy result.
