The role that a Producer plays in the world of film and television is often misunderstood and rarely celebrated. The aim of this panel discussion is to demystify the producer and encourage younger film makers towards a deeper understanding of what a pivotal role it can be. The Producer is all things to all people, and nothing gets made without at least one and sometimes dozens of them – all doing very different things. Come and learn who the Producer is and what they do.
Panelists include: Carol Brown, an RCS graduate who did her masters on the Stark Producing Programme in LA and Kaitlyn Roper, who is currently studying at Napier Screen Academy.
