NoMoreNewPlastic

NoMoreNewPlastic is an art installation film shot on the banks of Loch Lomond.

This piece aims to open up a discussion on how plastic is affecting our natural environment. From plastic clothes to plastic food containers and plastic instruments to plastic particles inside us, the world is drowning in plastic.
With the title NoMoreNewPlastic, I would like the viewer to consider if we actually need any more ‘new plastic’ or is there enough on the planet already?

With a significant plastic plant just outside Glasgow in Grangemouth, which is producing an endless stream of plastic, this is a topic that is very important in Scotland and one that we should all discuss.
