The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Screenings:
All film programmes will have descriptive subtitles and will contain content and trigger warnings.
Film programmes over 40 minutes long will contain a 5 minute break.
Screenings will be relaxed, with a controlled volume level, and there will be light in the screening room.
All panels and Q&As will have BSL interpretation. Workshops will have BSL interpretation if required. Watch our BSL video with information about the Festival below:
Visual story: Please read the Attending the Youth Film Access Festival visual story which, using text and images, explains what to expect when you arrive at the Festival and helps prepare you for your visit. There will also be a copy at the venue during the Festival.
Large print brochures for sight impaired audiences can be downloaded here and there will be available at the venue during the Festival.
Travel bursaries: we have a limited number of bursaries to help cover travel to the Festival for young people attending the Festival. For more information on bursaries please contact us on festival@filmaccess.scot.
