Film Access Scotland’s Launch Event

On 15 September 2022, Film Access Scotland hosted its official Launch Event and a Sector Information-Gathering Workshop at CCA in Glasgow.

More than 70 individual practitioners and representatives from organisations working in the Film Access Sector joined us over the course of the day to network with others, look to the future and celebrate the important, life-changing work they do.

You can read more about the Information-Gathering Workshop here.

Following the Workshop, the Workshop participants and others from the Film Access Sector came together for the Launch Event, with delicious food and drinks supplied by the wonderful team at CCA. After a few words from Natalie Usher (Chief Executive, Film Access Scotland), Murray Dawson (Chair, Film Access Scotland and Chief Executive, shmu), and Fi Milligan-Rennie (Head of Education, Screen Scotland), we presented a special short film and attendees networked in a room full of hard-working, talented people from across the Film Access Sector.

Film Access Scotland’s support for its members and associates is designed to develop and maintain a national framework for best practice and quality assurance in the Film Access Sector. We offer a range of activities including networking and sector development events, training programmes and workshops and an Annual National Conference.
